Born 50 years ago in Aliveri, Greece, I'm told that we have just one life to live. However, this is probably not true in my case. I am living in two parallel universes. In one realm, I'm the proud head of Draculi Coffee, one of the oldest family coffee businesses in Greece, where I represent the third generation. Yet in another, I'm an observant photographer, ever-inspired by the serendipities of life, the hidden shapes, and the juxtaposition of elements that at first seem disjointed. This is a universe I continue to explore through the lenses of my camera and my trusty iPhone.
My journey as a photographer began when I was ten, snapping my first photo on a school trip. The camera has since become an extension of my being, an essential tool for expressing my unique perspective. A defining moment in my dual life occurred in 2021 when a photo I captured was recognised in Apple's iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS), catching the eye of none other than Tim Cook who shared it on his Twitter.
This portfolio is a glimpse into the worlds that inspire me, a showcase of the details that capture my imagination and stir my creativity.
